Success. If you are interested in success start small. Trying to bite off more than you can chew might seem like a good idea at first: After all you've got great ideas and you can't wait to share them; however this could prove to give you are crash and burn landing. As a small business owner, its important to assess your strengths and weaknesses and come up with a realistic picture before proceeding forward. WHY, you ask? Because you may be setting yourself up, before you even get started. You want want your business to grow and desire to roll with the big girls, however faking till you make may not be the best plan. Recovering from a fall, when you are not prepared sometimes makes in EXTREMELY difficult to get to the place you originally had in mind in the first place.

We all know of politicians, actors, business people who wanted more than necessary and ended up humiliated, broke or in jail for fraud or worse. It is much harder to recover then never get in the situation at all. So my tip for the today for growing you business is:



Start with a small audience first:  Many times business owners who are just starting out are more willing to receive info, b/c they take as much as they can get. You have more freedom to make mistakes (big fish/little pond) and you can build key alliances to help you while you are on your way up. I dont normall quote Oprah but she i believe said 'I'm not interested in the person who wants to ride in the limo but the one who was willing to ride the bus with me' It's easy to stick around when stuff is success but you want someone who is willing to deal with the messes too!
